abstract	The Jedi Exile, later known as Darth Symore, was a Human male Jedi Knight who chose to disobey the orders of the Jedi High Council and aid the Galactic Republic in its war against the invading Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. Rising to the rank of Jedi Knight during the war, he served with distinction under the command of his fellow crusaders Revan and Malak, and was eventually commissioned as a General in the Republic Military. The Exile played a vital role in defeating the Mandalorians during the latter stages of the conflict, but as a direct result of his controversial actions during the cataclysmic final battle, he effectively cut his connection to the Force. Afterward, out of all those who went to war, he was the only Jedi to avoid the call of the dark side so far and return to the Jedi Council to be judged for his crimes. After he was exiled from the Jedi Order, he wandered the periphery of known space for nearly a decade before returning to the Republic during the Dark Wars, at the height of the First Jedi Purge. Caught up in the schemes of various mysterious factions, he was swiftly drawn into the ongoing conflict and became instrumental in engineering the defeat of the Sith Triumvirate ruled by Darths Sion, Traya, and Nihilus. Able to sense the Force once more, the Exile emerged victorious from his campaign against the Sith Lords. However, this was at the cost of falling to the dark side. He took the Sith title of "Darth" and renamed himself Symore. Lord Symore trained his own apprentice, Darth Mylus. The two new Sith Lords left the galaxy to search for Darth Revan in the Unknown Regions.
