  • Joe Flaherty (born June 21, 1941) is an American-Canadian actor and comedian. He is best known for his work on the Canadian sketch comedy SCTV, from 1976 to 1984, and as Harold Weir on Freaks and Geeks. He is currently a judge on The Second City's Next Comedy Legend.

  • In 1985, he play Sid Sleaze in the movie Sesame Street: Follow That Bird. Flaherty played the live action host Count Floyd in the 1988 cartoon The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley. Footage with him from the show was occasionally used for Cartoon Planet which aired from 1997 to 1998. He also portrayed the jeering fan Donald in the 1996 movie Happy Gilmore. Joe voiced the owner of a DeLorean door in the American Dad! episode "DeLorean Story-an", which also included Donald Fullilove as a highway patrol trooper.
