Keshat Akleen (Ilojan transliteration: Keçăt Akliyn), named after Cardassian Union founder Tret Akleen, was a city on Cardassia Prime that housed several campuses of the Vigilance Inquisitorium of the Cardassian Guard, including the Engineering Campus. The name of the city literally translates into Federation Standard as "Akleen City." (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions--"Immersion") Given this history, unlike other Cardassian cities, Keshat Akleen either does not exist or does so under another name in the Sigils and Unions: Catacombs of Oralius universe.

A short distance away from the campus is at least one lake used sometimes by upper-class deghi'ilzin for leisure--and was used by at least one Oralian dissident for prayer. Known attendees of the Inquisitorium in Keshat Akleen include Tayben Berat and Zejil Rebek, both of whom attended the Engineering Campus.
