Sébastien Laplante (b. January 16th 1981 in Casselman, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional goaltender. Laplante was drafted to the National Hockey League by the Los Angeles Kings 277th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He won the International Hockey League championship in 2008-09 with the Fort Wayne Komets. He retired in 2009 after six games with the IHL Quad City Mallards. Laplante holds the ECHL record for the most consecutive shutouts (4) and the Central Hockey League record for the most shutouts in the playoffs (3).
