Theresia, Countess of Maringhelm (b. May 14th, 2888 - d. August 5th, 2979) was the 42nd Governor-General of Greater Hulstria and the 19th Party Leader of the Fascist Authority Party; she was also the former Minister of Education & Culture of Greater Hulstria and served as the 17th Vice-Chair of the Fascist Authority Party from 2933 to 2951. The Countess additionally was the Chief Minister of Budenlar, serving from 2928 to 2931. Maringhelm originally became the Budenlar Chief Minister when August Kratzenberg left his post to become the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greater Hulstria as the interim Crownland head of government in April 2928; she was given her own term following her election as Chief Minister the next month in May. The Countess additionally was the Chief Minister of Budenlar, serving from 2928 to 2931. Maringhelm originally became the Budenlar Chief Minister when August Kratzenberg left his post to become the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greater Hulstria as the interim Crownland head of government in April 2928; she was given her own term following her election as Chief Minister the next month in May. In 2931 Theresia was defeated in a close election to the shock of political analysts to Sigurt Kempken though this was not the end of the Countess' political career as the year after the election, then Fascist Authority Party chairman Joseph Roderick II tapped her to become the party candidate for Education & Culture, a post which she overwhemingly accepted. In winter of 2933, Theresia von Maringhelm become the new Minister of Education & Culture in the "Imperial Conservatives" coalition cabinet, led by Gisela von Hortensiengau of the KHP. In 2950 Theresia von Maringhelm was nominated and confirmed to be the party candidate for Governor-General after Bauer-Chamberlain's intentions not to run for a fourth term; she became the first woman FAP candidate for Governor-General in party history as a result of the vote. In January 2951 Theresia von Maringhelm was elected Governor-General of Greater Hulstria, becoming only the fourth woman to hold such a position in Hulstrian history. Shortly after she the first Chairwoman of the Fascist Authority Party when Joseph Roderick II retired and named Maringhelm his personal successor; she was accepted by a large majority of the National Congress. This historic vote resulted in the first woman serving as leader of the Fascist Authority Party.
