No one knew the truth that Avir’s power ring was actually one of the most sophisticated pieces of scientific engineering in existence, having been created by the Guardians of the Universe. To avoid the prejudices of her community of sorcerers, Avir disguised the ring as "green magic". Avir used her “green magic” to protect both populaces from destroying themselves. Avir led a long and distinguished career among the Green Lantern Corps.
