Tsar Pavel I was the second Tsar of Russia which reigned in the country after the advent of democracy in Russia. He was born on 14th February 1855, when not a single view of reform was present in the country and Alexander II had not still ascended to the throne. Servitude was still in place during the year in which he was born and in this year he met his future wife, Irina, precisely a servant who had been rescued by soldiers from a cruel and abusive landlord in Brzesc nad Bugiem, in which was then Kingdom of Poland in dynastic union with Russia.
