Francis Swann (July 16, 1913 – August 27, 1983) was a writer on the original Dark Shadows. Francis Swann was born in 1913. He wrote at least one successful Broadway play "Out of the Frying Pan," which was subsequently turned into a film (Young and Willing). In Hollywood, he wrote a number of screenplays before turning to Gothic fiction. He died in 1983.
