Josef Rauch (Feb 27, 1902 – Aug. 14, 1984) was a German Colonel during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. At the end of the war he surrendered to the Russians and became a prisoner of war until 1955.
