Razzamult was a Scaphognathus and a respected member of Highnest that lived thousands of years ago. He arrived at Gideon Altaire's apartment one evening with an injured wing, and convinced Gideon to take him to see his friends Faldo Mustakka and Mirella in the dance parade. Through Faldo, Razzamult told Gideon about the theft of the ruby sunstone and the threat it posed to all Dinotopia. Back on Poseidos, Razzamult accompanied Gideon when he infiltrated the Strutterworks, hiding in the tall hat Gideon wore as part of his disguise. He helped to free the four captured pterosaurs being observed in the Strutterworks' wind tunnel, and carried Binny on his back when he flew into battle against the air scorpion.
