abstract	Commander Hazar again tries for peace talks with the Galaxy Alliance but his communication is intercepted by the Drule Empire and they set up a fake conference on planet Barran, planning to use the planet itself as a bomb. Hazar's father calls Hazar to warn him that the empire intends to use Hazar's peace talks as a trap. The Voltron Force go to the planet, Jeff and Cliff's teams going to the meeting spot in an underground cavern while Krik's team stands watch. Captain Bargo who was lying in wait attacks Krik's team. Hawkins sends help to assist the teams. Bargo traps the Voltron Force in a cavern and attempts to destroy the planet. Hazar and Dorma learn of Bargo's double-cross but is unable to do anything to help. Meanwhile, Jeff and the go deeper into the planet and run into a Robeast. They form Voltron and defeat the Robeast. They have Voltron separate into his component ships and escape the disintegrating planet.
