Then toward the beginning of the First Jedi Purge Raal chose to disobey the Jedi Council and seek out the source of the enemy that was hunting and killing all of the Jedi.

abstract	Teslo Raal was a Human male Jedi born on the Outer Rim world of Onderon, who helped save Ryloth from invasion during the Jedi Civil War in the battle which saw the end of his master Gin-Se Coda's life. After Ryloth, he was promoted to Jedi knight and assigned to protect Jorul Crail a Twi'lek senator from Ryloth. Then toward the beginning of the First Jedi Purge Raal chose to disobey the Jedi Council and seek out the source of the enemy that was hunting and killing all of the Jedi. His journey lead him to Ziost where he was attacked by Sith Assassins and brought to Darth Occidio the self-proclaimed Dark Lord of Ziost.During his imprisonment on Ziost,Occidio swayed Raal to the dark side,and sent him to Korriban where he would find the killers of his former master.On Korriban Raal came face to face with Aldo and Kelta two fallen Jedi who killed Master Coda with a thermal detonator. There Raal slayed the cowardly dark Jedi and then returned to Occidio who made Raal his apprentice. As Occidio's apprentice Raal know called Darth Securis began to grow tired of Occidio's will to remain on Ziost,and decide to kill him and claim the title of Dark lord. Poisoning Occidio while he slept,and assuming he succeeded in slaying the Dark lord. Securist headed to Tatooine to load up on supplies,but when he arrived Occidio was there waiting for him. Letting out a burst of Force lightning Occidio left Securis in the desert to die. Near death Securis was rescued by Jawas and brought into a sand crawler to recover. Realizing he was no longer Sith nor Jedi Securis took up his old name and remained with the Jawas for several years.
