Tutelas Knights are the men and women who devote their lives to the service of the Tutelas Order, and serve as the main force of the Order. The Knights of Tutelas are trained in the arts of close combat, mainly with Bladed weapons such as swords, and now with Lightsabers. There are two types of Knights: The Robed and the Armored. When they were exiled by the Republic and Jedi Order, Knights were becoming a rare sight in the Tutelas Order near their hidden enclave in the Unknown regions. They soon formed a new group together to consist of dark robed men called "The Unknown", they would become the Knights who went by no name, no appearance, and no alliance in the public eye as they continued to do their service to the Republic they still believed in. Only a very select few in the Galaxy outside the Order knew they were Tutelas Knights By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Tutelas decided it was time to act and few of the strongest Knights went undercover to join the Galactic Empire and become royal guards, individuals who were assigned to protect the VIPs of the Empire. Two Knights in particular got close to The Emporer, secretly known as Darth Sidious, and kept their force aura suppressed at all times while in his presence, and waited for the right moment to strike. In a turn of events, Darth Vader, Sidious's apprentice, killed his master only to die shortly afterward from the wounds sustained by his master, leaving both Sith Lords dead and the lone surviving Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker alive. The two Knights revealed themselves to Skywalker, who was weakened and weaponless and killed what seemed like the Last of the known Jedi in the galaxy. After the battle of Endor and liberation of Coruscant, The Knights revealed themselves to the Rebel alliance and vowed to serve the New Republic like their ancestors had nearly over ten thousand years ago. In time, they once again became the Loyal Protectors of the Republic.
