The unnamed Factory Girl was one of several of the workforce of Baldwin's Casuals who went into the Rovers at dinnertime. When they arrived, she was engrossed in conversation with Vera Duckworth until the latter caught sight of Jack at which point they began their usual marital bickering. Later on the girl tried to change a £5 over the bar but Bet Lynch was unable to oblige. Vera offered help but in doing so found out that Jack had raided her handbag when her back had been turned. He made a hasty exit out of the pub and a laughing Bet and the girl watched her chase him down the street.
