The Kure City Massacre is a major conflict in the Midwayan Civil War. The conflict took part between protesters in the event took place at 10:00 AM, when around 30,000 civilians had gathered in protest over having the Midwayan Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (Midwayan SFSR) rule the Kure Atoll Province. The conflict took part between protesters in the event took place at 10:00 AM, when around 30,000 civilians had gathered in protest over having the Midwayan Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (Midwayan SFSR) rule the Kure Atoll Province. When George Taketa, the Premier of the Midwayan SFSR, heard of this he was enraged. He is reported to have said: George Taketa sent in the Red Front to deal with the situation, giving them authorization to "use any means necessary to quell the protests". When the Red Front arrived, they surrounded the protesters. Then they began fireing into the crowd, which had no place to run. After around 20 minutes, 20,000 protesters had been killed. The remaining protesters were captured and sent to gulag's as extrajudicial punishment
