Philip Ahn (sometimes credited as Phillip Ahn; born March 29, 1905-died February 28, 1978) made three appearances on the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H; first, as the Korean father in the family that takes Hawkeye in to recover from suffering a head injury in an accident when his Jeep crashe in "Hawkeye" (Season 4, episode #19), as the Korean grandfather in the episode "Exorcism" (Season 5, episode #13) then as Mr. Kim in the episode "Change Day" (Season 6, episode #9). A veteran character actor in Hollywood film and TV, Philip's acting career spanned five decades, from the mid-1930's until the late 1970's; he was the first Asian American film actor to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
