| - Ryuka is more laid back and calm in Part III. He regards everyone with slight indifference, acting in a steadily casual manner. However, when it comes to achieving certain goals, he is not above being ruthless. If anyone he believes is standing in the way of those goals, he will not hesitate to harm them and/or kill them. This is shown in Part III, when he uses Tsukuyomi in order to interrogate a Kirigakure missing-nin for information about Madara and Kyashi's whereabouts. It is also learned that Ryuka's actual middle name, instead of "Asano", is "Senshi". In English, the name means "soldier".

Throughout Part IV, he begins to grow more cold and callous, only showing human emotion in rare cases, as faced with Evan and Kyashi. He does not value his own life, willing to put it in danger two further his own goals. He is unsympathetic to his opponents in fights, believing that shinobi should not feel pity towards each other while in battle. However, he gains a sense of honor, as shown in his fight with Ean. Although explaining to Ean that he neglected to kill him due to Echo's intervention, he refused to kill a weakened opponent that was unable to defend himself. It is also learned that Ryuka's actual middle name, instead of "Asano", is "Senshi". In English, the name means "soldier".
