  • Power Girl (real name Kara Zor-L, also known as Karen Starr) is a fictional DC Comics megaheroine, making her first appearance in All Star Comics #58 (January/February 1976).
  • Power Girl is a superheroine in the DC Universe. In the alternate dimension known as Earth-2, Supergirl doesn't exist, and Power Girl is Superman's cousin instead. Power Girl's given Kryptonian name is Kara Zor-L. (The family last name was spelled wrong on her birth certificate.) Her original secret identity on Earth was Karen Starr, a name which she deeply regretted taking since she kept having to deny any relationship to Kenneth Starr. She later changed her secret identity to Nadine Jansen.
  • Power Girl is published by DC Comics. Cover price is $2.99.
  • Power Girl, also known by her birth name Kara Zor-L and by her human name Karen Starr, was the Pre-Crisis Earth-2 counterpart to Supergirl of Earth-1 (Kara Zor-El). Power Girl is cousin to Kal-L (The Golden Age Superman) from the planet Krypton 2, and like her Earth 1 counterpart, was sent to Earth after Krypton 2 exploded. During her journey through space, Power Girl had lived what she thought to have been a real life, but was later revealed to be a simulation while she lay in suspended animation along her journey. When Kara is found by Kal-L, he rejoices but keeps her a secret much longer than her counterparts. She would later live with Kal-L and his wife, Lois Kent. Kara then adopted the alias Karen Starr.
  • On the parallel-universe of Earth-Two, After discovering Krypton was about to explode, Kara's father Zor-L launched her as an infant to Earth in a ship at the same time that Kal-L's ship was launched. However, Kara's ship took a much longer journey, resulting in her arriving on Earth decades after her cousin. According to Kara, the trip took 60 years to finish. When she landed on Earth, Kara was the age of an adult woman in her early twenties.
