Madagascar 4 is the working title of the fourth movie in the Madagascar franchise. It is currently on hold due to the restructing of DreamWorks Animation and the closure of PDI/DreamWorks that occurred in January 2015.

- In December 2010, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg alluded that a fourth installment was likely: "So today I can tell you pretty succinctly where Madagascar goes. Ultimately they will come back to New York, and they will come to terms with that, which they will do in this next [third] chapter.
