The Emperor of the Empire of Talmoria (Head of State) was elected directly by the Senate as Emperor for life and acts independently. After the Emperor's death, the Senate would elect a new Emperor in accordance with the Imperial Constitution. It is important to note that the title Emperor was not heredity. The role of the Emperor was largely a ceremonial one, the office holder had no executive nor political role . The Emeperor only represented the people when undertaking official engagemenst at home and abroad.
