The inexistent holy sword Vorpal(存在しない聖剣ヴォーパル; Sonzaishinai seiken vu~ōparu) is a Holy Sword with an interesting twist: it isn't in fact a sword, but instead a concept created by a nameless warrior(?) which it came to be by sheer force of thought. Currently, it is in the possession of Sakura Nagamura in DxD: Haremonogatari.

- Vorpal was a mean villain that was incarcerated in Yew at the time of Ultima IV. The Stranger found him inside the felon's jail in the Court of Justice. Vorpal was very rude to the hero, saying that he ate people who bugged him, like the Stranger. He then asked if the hero was there to bug him. If the Stranger said he was, Vorpal told the hero to "eat death, scum puppy", and attacked. The Rune of Justice was hidden inside his cell.
- Vorpality is the state of having an undulling blade and ethereal affect. The vorpal enchantment confers this upon blades. When cast upon an unbladed object or weapon, it will impart the ethereal affect and will likely confer some durability in lieu of the edge preservation. Vorpal artefacts have a strong affinity for wind and are found to be generally lighter and swifter as a result of the enchantment.
- Vorpal was a magical enhancement for slashing weapons that increased the chance of the weapon severing an opponent's head.
- Vorpal is a Brotherhood of Steel vertibird gunship in the Commonwealth in the year 2287.
- A vorpal weapon is capable of instantly killing a creature that it hits. When such a weapon scores a critical hit, the target will die unless that creature makes its reflex saving throw.
