| - The monolith is a structure. During the development of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, it was called the dark pylon, then the obelisk. The name "obelisk" was given to another building.
- The Monolith was a type of Sithspawn created by Vitiate, the former Sith Emperor of the Sith Empire, during his time on the planet Ziost. Monoliths were beyond normal Sithspawn; they were seemingly unkillable creatures that were built from the dark side itself rather than by mutating an existing creature. - MoNoLith were a visual kei band formed on June 20th, 2006 under Emotional Works Studio. They later moved onto the label, Loop Ash. Their music style often changes from fresh calming pop to hard rock with heavy metal undertones. Their music can be surprisingly catchy while maintaining a punk-rock feel and keeping to a classic visual kei foundation. Visually, MoNoLith display both oshare kei and conventional visual traits from cute, colourful outfits to striking monochrome ensembles reminiscent of many well-known visual kei artists.
