  • McKennon appears as the voice of animated characters in the feature films Lady and the Tramp, Tom Thumb, Sleeping Beauty, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Journey Back to Oz, The Adventures of Mark Twain and The Puppetoon Movie (as Gumby). His many onscreen appearances include Bend of the River, Good Day for a Hanging, The Tingler, The Wheeler Dealers, 7 Faces of Dr. Lao, Clambake, and the Disney films Son of Flubber, The Misadventures of Merlin Jones, The Cat from Outer Space and Hot Lead and Cold Feet (with Don Knotts). He also played the recurring role of Cincinnatus on the TV series "Daniel Boone".

He also played as Charlie Cooney in the 1978 live-action Disney film, The Cat from Outer Space.
