| - Previous: Hess Retains Power (CYOAH) Hess is convinced by his advisors, and himself, that the Soviets will be planning treachery, and are not to be trusted. The Reich will have to launch a first strike, or they will be crushed under the Soviet steamroller. Hess makes the decision to attempt to negotiate a peace treaty with England. On March 1941, a Nazi delegation lands in England to try to negotiate peace. The negotiations are very trying for the Nazis and the British. The British were adamant that any peace would have to include the return of most, if not all, of the Nazi gains in West Europe. The Nazi delegation was quick to point out how the British were in an untenable position, being without allies and facing a Europe-spanning Empire. The arguments rage for weeks. Eventually, someone from the Nazi delegation brings up the idea of a secret alliance against Communist Russia. The conference will end, but how? Created by: Azecreth 18:37, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
