  • Rubber is a special material, similar to Monkey Money, obtained from Bloons at the end of each game. Its use is to power certain machines (like the Rock Polisher) or to craft other items. It can be either obtained from special gifts or special mission rewards or by popping bloons (see below). Each unprotected Bloon popped (so Ceramic Bloons and the like don't count) adds 1 to the in-game Rubber count, which is added to an actual Rubber counter when you complete the track (when you reach the last wave and you get the option to freeplay). However, to prevent players from easily getting Rubber, the amount you are cashed in at the end of the game varies with difficulty: 30% Rubber from Easy mode; 60% Rubber from Medium mode and 100% Rubber from Hard mode.
