The Eagle Shark, Carcharhinus Aquila, Is an elusive predator thought to be a myth until 1958, when James Lyle Discovered it off the coast of Florida. It is a requiem shark of the family Carcharhinidae and can rarely be seen breaching or bottomfeeding throughout the Atlantic, mostly near Florida and the Caribbean.
