The Goralis class was a type of incursion cruiser fielded by the Klingon Empire during the 24th century. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire) The Goralis consisted of a forward shaft that was much broader and flatter than on other Klingon designs. This was made up of two structures, a basic under structure, which had a small detachable forward module at the tip, and a slightly tapered superstructure that merged into a large wedge-shaped main hull. At the top of the wedge was the ship's bridge. The ship had two downsloping wings, which ended with disruptor cannons at the tip. The ship's nacelles and secondary impulse engines were mounted ventrally to the wings where they joined the main body.

The class was designed by the House of Frel'kar and entered service in 2372, at the beginning of the Klingon-Cardassian War. It was primarily designed for hit-and-run missions but was well enough armed and shielded to take part in any type of fleet engagement.
