Monat has collaborated with fellow foley artist Robin Harlan on well over a hundred films, including all three Star Trek films mentioned above. The two worked for various companies during the early 1990s, including Paramount, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Twentieth Century Fox; one of their earliest projects for Paramount was the 1991 sports comedy Necessary Roughness, starring Scott Bakula. They have been working almost exclusinvely with Paramount since the late 1990s and have been working alongside foley mixer Randy Singer on all Paramount projects from that point on. Monat, Hurlan, and Singer's Paramount credits have thus far included Face/Off (featuring John Carroll Lynch and Harve Presnell), Titanic (featuring David Warner), Double Jeopardy (starring Ashley Judd and Bruce Greenwood), Sleepy Hollow, The General's Daughter (featuring James Cromwell and Clarence Williams III), Mission: Impossible II (with cinematography by Jeffrey L. Kimball), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (co-edited by Dallas Puett and co-written by Patrick Massett)), The Sum of All Fears (with James Cromwell and Bruce McGill), The Italian Job, Elizabethtown (starring Kirsten Dunst and Bruce McGill), Mean Girls, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Nacho Libre, and There Will Be Blood (with cinematography by Robert Elswit). Other foley artists and editors they frequently work with include Fred Burke, Scott Curtis, Scott G.G. Haller, and foley supervisor Thomas Small.
