| - Plagueis stood in the building on Byss, looking up at the stars, towards the very bright one that was the home system of Coruscant. He had to laugh to himself. The fools were probably still trying to figure out exactly what had hit them. Most other Sith would have waited longer to strike the Jedi Temple, but, how else was he to have gotten rid of the ridiculous oaf Darth Nero? He also did not want his training of the boy to be fouled up by another Sith who had his own agenda. The boy was to rule the galaxy one day, such as Joshun Skywalker now sat on the Chancellor's seat. How little those fools knew what that would mean. He had been the shatter point of everything involved. It was he that had set these things in motion. He now had control of the head of the Republic, and in exactly a hundred and three years the Republic would fall and the Sith would again rule the Galaxy. He had seen it, and the Chosen One. One who would walk among the stars. But, he would never come into being as long as Anakin Zaverral Skywalker was in the Jedi Order. But, the time would soon come. He had felt the searing rage that had unleashed itself in immense proportions. If the Jedi would simply train their Jedi at a later time in life, they would know how to deal with such emotions. But, those with no immunity to them, once it grabbed hold, would never leave. The nurse droid rolled in behind him, holding the child in its arms. Plagueis turned to the droid and took the child, barely eight months old, and held it in his arms. There indeed was something indeed disarming about a baby. And this baby was sleeping comfortably, and yawned in its sleep. If he had anything he felt sorry for, it was that a baby must grow up and lose its innocence. But, the glory of the Sith was to be fulfilled in this child. He would be a master of the ancient ways, and learn new arts. In the end though, the most important lesson would be hid in his memory, never to be revealed to him. He bent and whispered in his tiny ears, “One day, you will be the Emperor of a glorious empire. You will fulfill the dreams of nearly a hundred generations of Sith. When you have reached the point, you shall try to murder me in my sleep, but, you will not find it so easy to do. Remember, you are Sith, Palpatine.”
