Support Missions are a gameplay mechanic in Xenoblade Chronicles X. In the Japanese version, they are downloadable content, while in international versions they are unlocked when Chapter 12 is completed. They are intended to allow the player to quickly level up party members, raise affinity, and earn Credits and Miranium. They can be accepted at the Network Console, though they are not multiplayer missions and only allow solo play. They all have a time limit of 20 minutes, a maximum of 4 party members, and allow the use of Skells. They also have a limit of 3 retries, allowing an incapacitated player to be revived and continue the mission. The enemies in Support Missions do not drop any materials or other items.
