The RG1451 features a hard-tail bridge, the Tight-End which also used on the JEM7EAFX. It has a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with a pair of V6F humbuckers flanking an RTS single-coil and a Graph Tech Black Tusq nut. Unlike most Prestige models which have a barrel jack which is secured internally, the RG1451 has an externally mounted output jack with a square plate. The RG1450 is a similar model with a tremolo bridge. The RG1451 was discontinued after 2011.
