Eric Oliver was born sometime around 2005 after Tommy and Kat got married. His godparents were Jason and Kimberly, and since his childhood he started practicing martial arts. His martial arts helped him to develop self confidence, discipline and control and like his father before him it helps him with his school work. Unfortunately all of this would change after the war. He, his mother and sister were devastated by the death of his father, and during the period of reconstruction moved to Australia with his family.

He, his mother and sister were devastated by the death of his father, and during the period of reconstruction moved to Australia with his family. During his time in Australia, he did good in school, but later would constantly get into trouble fighting bullies who messed with him, his sister and others because of identity, race, religion and so on. He developed a belief that fighting bullies was the only way to stop victims from committing suicide or doing something that in his words would be "Columbine worse". These fights would upset his mother very often which would lead to arguments and at one time, the police became involved. His mother would then try to seek some counseling for him in order to deal with the painful experience of losing his father, but it barely work. Learning about this, Kimberly went to Australia with her daughter and spoke to him about her relationship with his father and how he would stop bullying by not throwing punches, but rather with words. As his godmother, Kimberly would become a second maternal figure and passing on Tommy's values to him, which led him to get less into trouble and become more focused on school. Eric then went to a martial arts school where a sensei taught him the true meaning of martial arts: respect, loyalty, wisdom, forgiveness, honor, compassion and discipline By the age of 15, he would later be a protector to his sister. He shall return in the sequel of Power Rangers: Rebirth.
