The Port of the Golden Sun occupied the southern inlet of the Bay of the Golden Sun just south and east of Otosan Uchi. The port coordinated the Tortoise's naval operations, and also handled the largest amount of exported goods from the mainland to the Mantis Islands and to other points along the eastern coast of the Empire. It originally was a ramshackle operation of the Otomo and Seppun families which ceded control to the Tortoise upon the foundation of the Minor Clan. The Southern Dry Docks was the area reserved for the newbuildings, and the docks of the Otomo were known as the Otomo Port.
