Colonial Independence Anthems was a collection of Insurrectionist anthems and ballads released in the Outer Colonies for the Chatter in 2556. While the album was widely downloaded, it was free, with the creators, suspected to be wanted rebels or rebel sympathizers, keeping any information about themselves secret for fear of reprisals. However, in the 2590's, the album creators finally revealed themselves as having been a band that simply performed the songs in their spare time, and while they were neutral towards the rebels and UNSC, they feared for their lives if they were found to be the creators of the album.
