Ahtobiton is an althistory being worked on by Dr. 8-Bit. It has two main PODs so far: * In 200 BCE, Germanic tribes unite into a single Teutan Empire, which proceeds to take over much of Europe and have a similar role to OTL's Roman Empire. As a result, the Elder Futhark (known simply as the Futhark) is used for most languages in place of the Roman alphabet, and Proto-Germanic (known as Teutan) is the language of prestige in place of Latin. * The Grand Duchy of Lithuania never falls, and has a similar role to OTL's Russia.
