Sequestered during WW2 to produce portable fire pumps for war effort. Decided to add fire fighting vehicles to product range in 1947 by producing first machine for the local Worcester Fire Brigade. Entered the export market in 1952 with their for first truck for the New Zealand Fire Service. Added the specialist Airfield market in 1962 when they manufactured an Airfield Fire Fighting vehicle.
