"Ugh...it's the demon girl..." Someone said as they walked past me. I noticed him briefly, he had a really weirdly shaped nose. "Look away, dear! You might get cursed!" Another woman whispered intently; her hair was way too frizzy for my taste. Talk. More talk. And more idle talk again. Is this all that these people could do? Talk, talk, talk, talk...it's like their mouths are contraptions designed to endlessly work with a useless function. "People are so stupid, I swear..." I walked past the bridge, and was finally at a place with some sort of quiet.

I walked past the bridge, and was finally at a place with some sort of quiet. I am Eika, sometimes known as a Demon, otherwise known as the Jinchūriki of the Kettle Demon. But that's besides the point. I am the Jinchūriki of the Shukaku, a fact that I don't particularly enjoy in this point of my life. "Shukaku...how do you deal with these constant insults?" I asked the beast inside myself. In all honesty, he wasn't really a beast, just a misunderstood entity with fearsome power and a rather raucous personality. "Dunno, really. I used to kill 'em all though! Maybe I should do that again!?" See? I told you he was crazy. "Shukaku, seriously..." I berated him, like I did with most of his rather foolish actions and dialogue, which was quite often. Shukaku never really listened to me though. All he really does in my body is sleep, and wakes up when there's an exciting conflict going about. "I don't exactly feel like going to the academy today...I believe it'd be easier if I just remained here, isolated...like a demon should be..." I told myself, as my eyes began to close. And I could see Shukaku's image within my mind at that point of time, he definitely wasn't holding a smile right now.
