PowerPrint is a Macintosh collection of drivers which allow a Macintosh to print to a variety of non-PostScript PC printers. It was mostly useful in the Classic Mac OS, since these systems had only PostScript capabilities. PowerPrint for Networks was a version which allowed to print to a shared printer over a network. The printer had to be connected to an AppleTalk printer server, like Miramar pcmaclan. In order to make the printer available in the list of the driver in the Chooser, you have to configure the print server with type: Printer_Adapter
