The Burning Walk (Ta. "Kek Yanan") was a trade route running from An Karagmir southeast to the oasis of Sud Sicanna and continuing onwards to the town of Tûl Poac. The route followed the escarpment that separated the Dune Sea to the west from the Mirror of Fire to the east. Unpaved, but reasonably wellmarked, it was the only significant road through the western part of the hostile Inner Lands of Far Harad. Travellers on this route had to contend with scores of nomadic raiders.
