Malcolm Wynn-Jones is the MI5 Technician and Data Analyst. His mind works at the speed at light, making connections and deductions that can mean the difference between life and death to the spooks in the field. While other members of the team tend to take all the glory, they can usually owe their success to a piece of Malcolm's expert knowledge. But he's not the kind of guy to make a fuss. He doesn't relish the limelight and when the job's done, he's more likely to bury his head in a cryptic crossword than start shouting about his success.

He doesn't relish the limelight and when the job's done, he's more likely to bury his head in a cryptic crossword than start shouting about his success. Malcolm Wynn-Jones could have been born to be a Spook. He's very much a "back room boy" and is not likely to be seen risking life and limb on the front-line. But that's not to say he isn't vital to the smooth running of operations. Malcolm's mind works at the speed at light, making connections and deductions that can make the difference between life and death to the Spooks in the field. While some of the rest of the team might tend to take all the glory, they can usually owe their success to a piece of Malcolm's expert knowledge. But he's not the kind of guy to make a fuss. He doesn't relish the limelight and when the job's done, he's more likely to bury his head in a cryptic crossword than start shouting about his success. Malcolm was hit hard when his colleague and good friend Colin was Murdered, and, in shock, threatened to quit, but Adam and Zaf reassure him to stay.
