Ussej Padric Bac IV was born to a long line of legendary war heroes, politicians, tyrants, Jedi Knights, Sith Lords and Bendu warriors. The third Bac to bear the name “Ussej Padric” after his great-grandfather Ussej Padric Bac, he was born to Ussej Padric Bac III and Jana DesOrz. Tragically, however, his mother and his twin sister both died when he was born one week early in a shuttle crash in the Ashlan Mountains. His only motherly figure in his life was his mother’s mother, though when she died when he was ten he and his father were all alone. Though Ussej did not mind being with his father, he always wished he had more of a family.

  • Ussej Padric Bac IV was born to a long line of legendary war heroes, politicians, tyrants, Jedi Knights, Sith Lords and Bendu warriors. When his father announced that the Bendu Order was preparing to head into the territory occupied by the Galactic Republic, Ussej was pleased to be able to serve his planet and his people. However, when his father and friends left to fight in the Great Sovereign Crusades and the holy war that accompanied it, Ussej had to remain behind due to his father ordering him to help oversee the training of Bendu apprentices alongside Josiah Rendar. Needless to say, he felt as if his skills were not put to good use. During his stay on Kal'Shabbol during the war, Ussej met and fell in love with Ashinia Tinelia. She moved in with him in the Bendu Temple of Light and they were married by Josiah Rendar in a private ceremony against the Ashlan Sea shortly thereafter. Nine months later, Ashinia gave birth to Ussej’s infant son whom they named Ussej Padric Bac V, thereby carrying on the tradition started by Ussej Padric Bac II. For nearly a year, Ussej lived in peace with his wife and child and he finally had the family that he had always wanted. Shortly after his son became six months old, Ussej was contacted by his great-grandfather, the Shaman of the Whills, who told him that Ussej’s father was in danger of being pushed over the edge in his holy war against the Jedi Order. Knowing he would not be able to forgive himself if anything happened to his father, Ussej said goodbye to his wife and son, believing it would be temporary, and made his way into the Outer Rim Territories where he found his father’s flagship. Shortly after his arrival, the ship was boarded by a group of Jedi Knights planning to arrest or assassinate his father. When his father was nearly killed, Ussej stepped in front of and was stabbed with a lightsaber to protect his father. Ussej’s death served as a catalyst for his father realizing all that he had done wrong and ending the holy war. Upon the Bendu Order’s return to Kal’Shabbol, Ussej was cremated and his remains were buried next to his mother and twin sister.
