Thomas Carew (1590 – 1672?), also Carue, known to history as Carve due to his use of the Latinate spelling, was chaplain to a Walter Butler, possibly Walter Butler of Roscrea, and later to Walter Devereux. He is known for having written an itinerary of his travels during the Thirty Years' War.
