Horst Witzleben was the official newsreader of the German Propaganda Ministry in the early 21st century. He was the ideal Aryan physically: blond-haired, blue-eyed, broad shouldered, with a confident voice and smile. Most Germans treated the news he relayed as Gospel. Once Heinz Buckliger became Führer, many viewers noticed a change in Witzleben's delivery of the news. He seemed less authoritative and more approachable as Buckliger instituted reforms.

| - Horst Witzleben was the official newsreader of the German Propaganda Ministry in the early 21st century. During Lothar Prützmann's attempted Putsch in 2011, Lise Gimpel noted that Witzleben's delivery, supportive of the SS' move, suggested that Witzleben was acting under duress. Once the Putsch was crushed by the Wehrmacht, Witzleben again supported Buckliger and his reforms, enthusiastically reporting sweeping victory reformers achieved in the 10 July 2011 Reichstag Elections.
