  • Game Design is the section of the Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates Forums where players can suggest additions and/or changes to the game design. The List and The Anti-list are located on this forum. Always remember to search before making a suggestion, to avoid cluttering the forum too much.
  • The Design Phase is the part where a prospective Host turns his/her idea into a complete Mafia Game ready to be added to the queue (or played right away). There are also players that prefer to design (turn initial ideas into a game with complete Role Descriptions and game mechanics) and are unable to host all their ideas due to IRL time constraints.
  • Of course there are many different types of games which can be potentially developed using Dark GDK, it has the scope for everything from a 3D RPG to classic pong. The sample Dark Dungeon project provides a simple example of an implementation of an FPS (First Person Shooter) using 3D Commands. But many games also utilise the 2D Commands. Simple strategy games like Go and Chess still require complex algorithms to resolve single player versus computer games, whilst multi-player games require networking features and collaboration tools (chat) to enhance the gaming experience. Dark GDK provides the necessary functions for these too.
