The Live Trigger bug is a bug present in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It is part of the storyline in the Archylte Steppe in the Year Unknown. When the Live Trigger scene occurs after the battle with Faeryl and the player does not select the comedic response on the first playthrough of the area, they will not be able to obtain the other monster adornment if they were to replay the area and select the other response.

abstract	The Live Trigger bug is a bug present in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It is part of the storyline in the Archylte Steppe in the Year Unknown. When the Live Trigger scene occurs after the battle with Faeryl and the player does not select the comedic response on the first playthrough of the area, they will not be able to obtain the other monster adornment if they were to replay the area and select the other response. Either Dragon Hide Backpack or Mog's Clock can be obtained: Dragon Hide Backpack by choosing a neutral response, or Mog's Clock by choosing the comedic response. After obtaining an adornment, a Potion will always be reward for the Live Trigger in subsequent playthroughs of the Archylte Steppe.
