- The Silent Assassin was a smaller modified DeepWater-class light freighter. An older model, she was purchased used from a second-hand dealer on Coruscant by Rodian bounty hunter Camilla Sookanado. Being an older ship, the Silent Assassin had not seen use since the original owner had her dry-docked and required numerous repairs. Short on funds, Camilla did most of the repairs and modifications herself and with the help of her friend, the Twi'lek Ric'ah T'rib. Among the modifications that were made were to the cockpit flight controls configuration to suit Camilla's slighter frame and two cargo bays were replaced with holding cells.

Being an older ship, the Silent Assassin had not seen use since the original owner had her dry-docked and required numerous repairs. Short on funds, Camilla did most of the repairs and modifications herself and with the help of her friend, the Twi'lek Ric'ah T'rib. Among the modifications that were made were to the cockpit flight controls configuration to suit Camilla's slighter frame and two cargo bays were replaced with holding cells. Camilla often took the Assassin on long hunts, using the ship as a second home. The ship's efficient engine allowed for extended chases between refueling. These long hunts earned Camilla several "Longest Trail" Atiang awards on her homeworld. The submarine capabilities allowed Camilla to travel underwater and acquire difficult bounties, such as the Quarren fugitive she tracked through the oceans of Mon Calamari homeworld, Dac. The Assassin's submarine operating mode became convenient once more when Camilla had the ship hidden just beneath the surface of a lake on an uncharted world. After Camilla's escape and return to Coruscant, the Silent Assassin was dry-docked. While under the care of the local behavioral health services, Camilla was only permitted to perform routine maintenance to the ship to keep it in working order. In 26 ABY, Ric'ah T'rib helped Camilla get the Assassin out of impound by being named co-owner of the ship. Afterward, Camilla used the ship to take her son Trak Nar on short off-planet holidays.
