The Lost Mark is a trilogy of novels set within the world of Eberron; all three novels are published by Wizards of the Coast. The trilogy focusses on the thirteenth dragonmark, the Mark of Death, its protagonist, a Brelish fighter named Kandler, and his adopted elf daughter Esprë. The first instalment, Marked for Death was released March 1st 2005, the second released January 10th 2006 and the third on October 10th 2006. All three novels have had audio book releases and are illustrated by Adam Rex. As the novels were released prior to 4th edition the world lore corresponds to the 3.5 edition of Eberron and all events are considered non-canon. There was also a prequel to the trilogy titled Coming Home which was published in 2005 in Dragon Magazine #330.
