- The Mugger is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series, featured as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto Online. Players are able to call Lamar Davis to send the Mugger after a specific player for $1,000 after reaching level 50. The Mugger has their gender and appearance randomized. There can only be one Mugger spawned at a time in the world, meaning two players cannot use the Mugger at the same time. If a player tries to send a Mugger while one is still alive, a message will appear saying that the Mugger is currently working for someone else.
