You can resist death with a great show of power. When you are subject to a [Death] effect, you may initiate this maneuver as an immediate action. You gain half your initiator level as a bonus to your saving throw. If your saving throw is successful, not only do you resist the magic but if the original caster of the spell is in range they suddenly burst into spiritual flame, taking 1d6 points of damage per initiator level (max 20d6 at 20th), no save.
