Shane Brennan (born 1957, in Bendigo, Australia) is an Australian writer and producer for television; more popularly known as the executive producer of the American CBS drama NCIS, as well as the creator of the NCIS spin-off series, NCIS: Los Angeles. Although he is the current showrunner on NCIS: Los Angeles, he remains the executive producer of NCIS; he handed the day-to-day operations over to Gary Glasberg after the 8th season of NCIS.
